The Historical Archive of the Public Prosecutor's Office (Procuradoria-Geral da República), with documentation from 1836, is now available for public access via the Internet.
Consisting of documentation dating back to the origin of the Institution, in the first half of the nineteenth century, it will be possible to reconstitute an important part of its activity through it historically. This documentation includes, in particular, the legal advises issued in the context of their consultative functions.
The feeding of the Historical Archive database will be done in a progressive way, being also allowed the access to a selection of documents in digital format.
